Which tripod fits?

There are three main differences between Swarovski Optik tripods: size, transport dimensions and weight. And these features provide the answer to the question of which tripod is the right one. The models include all-rounders and tripods for travel or extreme weather conditions. So the tripod can be adapted to your own requirements.

Aluminium tripod

The aluminium tripod from Swarovski Optik is a particularly robust companion for nature observation and bird watching, because the material is extremely weather-resistant. This also applies to extreme weather conditions such as intense heat or cold. At the same time, the aluminium remains unimpressed by impacts and falls. With an observation height of 190 cm, the Swarovski Optik aluminium tripod is suitable for tall people and unusual perspectives. At the same time, the aluminium tripod is cheaper than the carbon version.

Carbon tripods

Swarovski Optik also offers carbon tripods for spotting scopes, which are characterized by a particularly low weight and are therefore extremely easy to transport. Nevertheless, the carbon material is robust and suitable for intensive use. The conventional tripod is a real all-rounder with an observation height of 170 cm. In travel format it is much more compact, but still offers the same observation height.

Tripod heads for optimal observation & photography

The selection of a suitable tripod head should be as important as the tripod itself. Basically, the tripod head should have the same thread size as the tripod, so that it can be mounted stable. In addition, a tripod head should be selected that meets the respective purpose for observation or digiscoping.

The CCT is a classic tripod head, which connects the spotting scope and tripod in a particularly rigid way, so that the image is irritated by less shake. It has an integrated quick-release fastener to clamp the base of the spotting scope directly in place. However, the latest invention is a professional tripod head PTH for particularly comfortable observation. The balance rail is used to correctly balance the connection between the tripod head and the tripod head, making it easy to observe dynamic objects.
